What is Anticoagulation Clinic?
The Anticoagulation Clinic is overseen by a pharmacist at Edmonton Echolab.
Anticoagulation medication is used to prevent blood clots. The pharmacist will work hand-in-hand with the patient to ensure proper treatment and prevention of blood clots with the appropriate medication.
Patients are referred to the Anticoagulation Clinic by their physician.
